For the Soccer in the Streets and City of East Point mural project, I was tasked with capturing the creation of artist Tommy Bronx’s new mural at the East Point MARTA Station. My responsibilities included producing a visually compelling video that highlights Soccer in the Streets’ mission to empower youth through soccer, leadership development, and community engagement. I also captured final images of the completed mural to document and showcase the finished artwork.
The video was designed to celebrate the organization’s impact on local communities and to build momentum around Atlanta’s upcoming role as a host city for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Throughout the project, I regularly visited the mural site to film key stages of the installation, meticulously documenting Tommy Bronx’s techniques, the energy of the community, and the transformation of the space.
I collaborated closely with Soccer in the Streets and City of East Point representatives to ensure that all creative and logistical needs were met, delivering high-quality video content and final mural imagery that aligned with the organization’s goals. The project successfully celebrated the intersection of art, culture, and sport, and helped strengthen community pride as the city prepares for the global stage.
